University Program Integration into the Canvas Learning Management System
California State University, Los Angeles provides students with a university-sponsored scholarship to attend the HACU Adelante! Student Track Annual Conference to build their professional networks and expand their skills and knowledge through workshops. As an expansion of the conference experience, the university is creating a Canvas course with career management tips such as resume building, networking, business attire guides, and other valuable professional skills so that participating students can feel prepared and confident to attend the conference.
Tasks involved creating a flow of the content modules, creating content such as guides with videos and visuals, and tutorials for the Canvas integration team on navigating Canvas and creating ADA accessible content.
